Who Responded To The Survey?

To qualify for participation, a respondent must have relocation responsibility and work for a company that has either relocated employees within the past two years or plans to relocate employees this year. Atlas sent invitations via e-mail, and 408 relocation professionals completed online questionnaires between January 6 and February 28.

Where is America Moving - 2010 Migration Patterns

Atlas Van Lines has reviewed data on the origins and destinations of interstate moves during the last 12 months. Click on the link below to see the 2010 Migration Patterns study. This study shows the relocation patterns based on 74,541 interstate household goods moves in 2010.

There Were More Relocations in 2010

The American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA) reports that private and corporate moves were up in 2010.  This data is supported by information released by several of the major Van Lines for interstate moving activity.
